Recovery & downtime
Injection sites may look red or slightly swollen, and bruising can occur. These changes may last from hours to several days. Effects develop gradually; follow-up is usually discussed around the two-week point.

Potential side effects
Redness, swelling and bruising are possible. Your medical assessment includes a discussion of other potential complications, suitability and alternatives. Contact the clinic about unexpected or persistent symptoms.

Before your appointment
- Before your appointment, complete the clinic’s secure intake form in Jane App with your health history, medications, supplements, allergies and previous treatments.
- We will not ask you to share medical or health information over social media. Please use your Jane App intake form for this information.
- Ask which preparation instructions apply to you. Never stop prescribed medication without advice from your prescriber.

Aftercare
- The clinic advises staying upright for four hours and avoiding rubbing the treated area.
- Avoid intense exercise, excess heat and makeup for the first 24 hours, following your individual instructions.
